The rows cover two cities. Each verified place has its own page: Fairborn.

Every listing is either one community's program or a county-wide one. "Verified" means the row is at medium confidence or higher in our registry. For every other row we show a name and a date, because we cannot yet stand behind a supplier or a rate.

Who runs a county-wide program in Greene County?

Greene County has no county-level row in our registry, which leaves each program in the table with the community that adopted it.

A board of county commissioners can aggregate only the unincorporated area of the county, says Ohio Revised Code 4928.20. It may act jointly with another city, village, township or county. The section does not authorize aggregating loads served by a municipal electric utility or in a nonprofit electric supplier's territory.

What default electric rate should you check in Greene County?

Price to compare. The utility's default supply rate, the one you pay if you have not chosen a supplier or joined a program.

AES Ohio is the utility our registry records for the rows that name one.

AES Ohio's price to compare is 10.86¢ per kWh for June 1, 2026 – May 31, 2027, according to PUCO's chart. The next period starts June 1, 2027.

Our AES Ohio electric rates page and price to compare page cover it, and PUCO's chart shows the offers. County lines do not always match territory lines, so check your bill. One row carries no utility, so the bill is the check.

Our ZIP list shows thirteen ZIP codes in Greene County. Postal names such as Alpha, Bellbrook, Bowersville, Cedarville, Clifton and five more match no row in this county's file, but a postal name is not a city limit, and a missing row does not mean there is no program.

What if you sign with a supplier in Greene County?

PUCO says a customer who does not opt out and then picks a new supplier stays in the aggregation program (PUCO), so keeping your own supplier means opting out. Ask the program and the supplier how your account will be handled before you sign anything in Greene County. Look for an early termination fee (ETF), the charge for ending a contract early.

Staying in the program, or on the utility's default, can be the better choice when every fixed offer on PUCO's chart is above the rate you pay now for the same dates. It can also be better when a supplier's monthly fee or ETF would erase the gap.

PUCO also keeps an electric Do Not Aggregate list for people who want out of future opt-out programs. PUCO says it does not take you out of a program that has already enrolled you.

Frequently asked questions

How many electric aggregation listings does Greene County have on file?

Greene County has two listings on file in our registry, with the newest research dated September 9, 2026. One is verified and one is not. We print a supplier or rate only for verified rows. The ZIP list shows thirteen ZIP codes here, and a program that started recently may not be on file.

Does a Greene County program cover homes inside a city or village?

Usually not. Ohio law lets a county aggregate the unincorporated area, and commissioners may act jointly with a city, village or township. The Greene County rows in our registry cover two cities, and the ZIP list has thirteen ZIP codes. None is county-wide. Your notice says who is included.

Can I see the Greene County aggregation rate on this page?

Yes, for the one verified place. Open its place page for the program's recorded rate, supplier and term with the date we researched it. The other one row is not yet verified, so we show no rate there. Your notice stays the source of record.

Who can tell me about aggregation for my Greene County address?

Ask your city hall or village office and the county commissioners, since the community runs its own program. PUCO says the community or its chosen supplier can answer opt-out questions. Try our aggregation lookup with any of the thirteen ZIP codes we list here, though it cannot see your exact address.
